Join this vibrant journey and immerse yourself in the challenging reality of Iraq between 1988 and 2015.

The journalist Feurat Alani was born in France in 1980 after his father fled Iraq in the 1970s. During the Fatiha, a memorial ceremony for his recently deceased father, he tries to reconstruct his father's life while exploring the complex history of Iraq between 1988 and 2015.

Le parfum d'Irak is a beautifully animated, educational journey through the recent history of Iraq, portrayed in soft and meaningful colors, with a nearly tangible representation of emotions, impressions, and memories.
