Cactus Pears is the feature film debut of director Rohan Parashuram Kanawade. Prior to this, he worked as an interior designer while exploring his talent for film making. Without any formal film education, he created this semi-autobiographical work, which was immediately premiered at the World Cinema Dramatic Competition of the Sundance Film Festival.
