A kaleidoscopic family portrait without winners or losers. As a viewer, you are invited to briefly be part of a family marked by relational ups and downs, lies, cherished dreams, and social pressure.

Rami is a Palestinian whose Jewish girlfriend, Shirley, is pregnant. Rami's mother, Hanan, struggles with her husband Fouad’s, financial problems. Her youngest daughter, Fifi, is studying in Jerusalem. She prefers to keep her private life hidden from her family, but after a car accident, some details from her medical file come to light.

This film is divided into different chapters of mini-stories that overlap, as the lives of the characters are intertwined. We are presented with a network of relationships, skillfully  arranged by the director like cinematic puzzle pieces. It's a captivating film about cultural and generational misogyny, stemming from religious, political, and societal rules.
