Pema Tseden

Pema Tseden, born in 1969, is a Tibetan writer, screenwriter and director. He graduated in Tibetan Language and Literature and later graduated from the Beijing Film Academy. His international breakthrough came with his feature films Tharlo (2015) and Jinpa (2018), which we have presented during previous editions of the film festival. He based the script of Balloon on a novel he had previously written.
