Mahdi Fleifel is a Danish-Palestinian director whose films frequently explore social injustice and highlight the plight of Palestinians in exile. His feature debut, ‘A World Not Ours’, garnered multiple awards. His short film ‘A Man Returned’ earned the Silver Bear and a European Film Award nomination at the Berlinale. ‘A Drowning Man’ was included in the official selection at Cannes 2017.
