Boris Lojkine is a French director and screenwriter, known for Hope (2014) and Camille (2019). He describes himself as "a French director with a Russian name who speaks Vietnamese and makes African films." His latest film, L'histoire de Souleymane, won the Jury Prize and the Best Actor award for Abou Sangaré in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes.
