MOOOV throughout the school year
Films as support material in class? All year round? That's possible!
From September 2024 you can enjoy MOOOV again throughout the school year. From September to March you can enjoy a thematically curated range of films with your students every third week of the month in UGC Turnhout or online.
MOOOV made a film selection that ties in with current themes. Every month we have a different focus. Ideal for thematically strengthening your lessons through film. Our teaching materials will help you on your way even further. You also regularly get the opportunity to sign up for in-depth peripheral activities. Every month we also provide book recommendations that are closely related to the films. Many of the films are based on a book. The libraries of Turnhout, Oud-Turnhout, Beerse and Vosselaar focus on a few books every month that fit within MOOOV throughout the school year. Is your school not in this region? Ask for the books at the library in your area!

When can you come by to watch a movie or watch a movie online?
- September: 16th till the 20th of September 2024
- October: 21st till the 25th of October 2024
- November: 18th till the 22nd of November 2024
- December: 16th till the 20th of December 2024
- January: 20th till the 24th of January 2025
- February: 17th till the 21st of February 2025
- March: 24th till the 28th of March 2025
- April: 22nd till the 30th of April 2025
How much does it cost?
Which formulas do we offer?
Every third week of the month you get the chance to enjoy a thematically curated school screening. There are a few options:
- Is your school located in the area around Turnhout? Then register for a screening in UGC Turnhout. The screenings can be scheduled every morning on a day of your choice, always the 3rd week of the month. The options:
You register your students for 1 of the films: €4,50 per student, teachers free
You register your students for multiple films: €4 per student + €1 discount per student on a school screening during the film festival!*
Is going to UGC Turnhout not an option for you? Then watch the films online in class every 3rd week of the month. The online options are:
You register your students for an online screening of 1 one of the films: €2,50 per student, teachers free
You choose a subscription for all films of the 1st trimester for your students: €8 per student, teachers free + €0,50 discount per student for a school screening during the film festival!*
You choose a subscription for all films of the 2nd trimester for your students: €6 per student, teachers free + €0,50 discount per student for a school screening during the film festival!*
You choose a subscription for all films of semester 1 + 2: €11 per student, teachers free + €1 discount per student for a school screening during the film festival!*
*the discount only applies to the same group of students for whom you register for the MOOOV offer throughout the school year. Are your students eligible for a free screening in connection with the book adaptation project in collaboration with the libraries of Turnhout, Oud-Turnhout, Beerse and Vosselaar? This performance does not entitle you to a discount during the festival.
