Wanneer Samay voor het eerst naar de bioscoop mag, is hij meteen enthousiast. Hij heeft geen geld voor tickets en dus glipt hij langs de achteringang binnen, maar telkens wordt hij betrapt. De projectionist neemt hem mee naar zijn kabine en vanaf dan is Samay er elke dag te vinden. Samen met zijn vrienden gaat hij aan de slag om zelf een projector ineen te boksen.
